TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7- FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24 - PENNIES FOR PATIENTS. We will be collecting Pennies for Patients, All money collected will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

DUE TO THE SNOW DAY TAKEN ON FEBRUARY 13, 2012. We will have PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20,2012- 2:00 - 6:00 and on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2012 2:00 -4:00. Progress reports will be sent home with parents at this time.

MARCH 19- MARCH 23- SPRING BREAK

** GIS LIBRARY does collect BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATIONS.

**The Music Department is collecting aluminum cans for recycling. Money raised will be used to purchase drums.  Students can bring their cans to the Music Room. 

**Gentry Public Schools Technology Department recycles inkjet cartridges and cell phones. 

***When it becomes necessary to close school due to inclement weather or any other unexpected reason, the local radio and TV stations will be notified and an announcement will be made.  The main page of the school website at www.gentrypioneers.com will also have closing information. Our Pioneer Alert Notification System, is in place so make sure that we have the correct contact information for your student.. Please discuss in advance with your children what you expect them to do if school has to be released early for any reason.  The phone lines get extremely busy on those days and it can be difficult to get through to the office.
